Job summary

Boyd’s Tire & Service in Central Ohio is hiring a Junior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in line with MAP guidelines and dealer standards.

You will work to maintain safety, document repairs precisely, and communicate findings to customers and store management while pursuing ASE certification and keeping ASE renewals up to date. This is a great entry-level path with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Possess a valid driver's license or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work five days including Saturdays.
• Ability to pass an MVR screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Performs work on Multi-point Inspection/Repair Orders with accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and repairs to customers and management.
• Recommends services to keep vehicles running and documents recommendations.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals.
