Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate for our West Point, VA facility. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles across engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC, ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing engines, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC as required.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced shop.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain ASE certifications where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards.
