Job summary

Open Road is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our premier service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards, using advanced diagnostic tools and procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technologies. A strong work ethic, valid driver’s license, and commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an automotive technician preferred.
  • ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and computerized vehicle systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
  • Complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality.
  • Accurately document repair orders and vehicle findings.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians.
  • Stay current on technical training and certifications.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
