Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Customer Sales Advisor to join our Auto Service center. You will engage guests, drive tire and service sales, and deliver outstanding service while learning quality, sales, and profitability in a team environment.

You will build relationships, explain warranties and promotions, and guide guests from check-in to check-out. We value a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work with limited supervision, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation is offered for this position.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, and repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Help drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales
• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction by understanding their needs
• Understand and describe warranties, advertising, and promotion of products and services
• Take responsibility for guest interactions from initial experience through completed service; make recommendations based on manufacturer guidance
• Coordinate check-in, scheduling, time estimates, and check-out
• Promote self-development using company training tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including handling tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting
