Capitol City Ford Greenfield, just a short drive from Indy, is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform maintenance and repairs to Ford vehicles. You will be mentored by master techs and paid to continue training as your skills grow, with flat-rate adjustments as you improve.

Qualifications

• Have own set of tools.
• Be dependable with a reliable source of transportation.
• Strong motivation to learn and succeed in the business.
• Be able to provide customer satisfaction performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance services according to Ford’s standards.
• Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders on vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and Ford standards.
• Automotive technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems to specification.
• Mechanics provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
