Job summary

Tire Pros in McAllen, TX is seeking a Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive service repairs, tire and wheel services, oil changes and vehicle inspections. You will help maintain a clean service department, showroom, and storage areas while delivering high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively with customers and team members, can operate common automotive tools, and meets physical requirements including lifting up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers, associates and management.
• Ability to use automotive tools including impact gun, sockets, wrenches and oil filter tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift up to 60 pounds and push/pull up to 60 pounds.
• Preferred automotive courses or vocational training; high school diploma/GED preferred; ASE/UTI/NASCAR certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-technical automotive service repairs and tire/wheel services.
• Conduct oil changes and vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness in service department, showroom, exterior and storage areas.
