Job summary

Basil Family Dealerships is hiring Quick Lane Technicians. This full-time position offers ongoing paid training and a clear path from entry level to senior service technician roles within a family-owned dealership group.

You will work as part of a dedicated service team focused on quality inspections, maintenance, and customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 40-50 lbs, and a basic understanding of automotive systems.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• NYS Inspectors license preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active shop environment.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems.
• Experience using shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point inspections.
• Communicate service/repair needs to service advisors.
• Service joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles.
• Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and dealership policies.
