Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is opening a new store and seeking a General Service Technician to deliver quality automotive care in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on thorough oil changes, tire services, fluid checks, and equipment upkeep.

You will work with a team to ensure efficient service, uphold safety standards, and build trust with customers while contributing to store growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• One year or more of basic car care experience is helpful but not required.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team.
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to pass pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Valid driver’s license needed.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks.
• Provide tire care including installation, repair and rotation.
• Inspect and top off engine fluids.
• Lubricate frontend components as needed.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections following a checklist.
• Move and operate customer vehicles into and out of service bays.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and teamwork.
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and functional.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
