The Lia Auto Group in New York is seeking a Level B & C Automotive Technician to join a fast-paced, professional team. The role emphasizes diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle systems with access to advanced equipment and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of service technician experience required.
• Diagnostic, electrical and engine repair experience required.
• State Inspection certification required.
• ASE certification recommended.
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components/systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
