Job summary

Bowser Automotive is seeking a motivated Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles in a fast-paced shop. You will perform tests, use diagnostic equipment, and ensure workmanship meets manufacturer and Bowser standards.

Candidates should hold valid Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Licenses and a clean driving record, with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Test vehicle systems and components to ensure proper operation.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately while following manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, tune-ups, suspension work, air conditioning service, engine repairs, and transmission service.
• Replace or repair worn, damaged, or defective parts.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document repair recommendations.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
• Communicate repair needs with Service Advisors and Service Management.
• Explain vehicle concerns or repair recommendations to customers when necessary.
• Maintain current Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions licenses and complete all required manufacturer and dealership training.
• Follow all OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• Adhere to Bowser Automotive safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
