Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group seeks an Automotive Service Technician for Napleton Auto Park of Urbana. You will repair and maintain vehicles per dealer and factory standards while building customer trust and confidence in Napleton.

We offer a pay range of $22.00-$45.00 flat rate, with incentive-based pay, plus training, manufacturer certifications, tool allowances, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order to factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff and customers.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in training as appropriate.
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
