Qualifications

• Dexterity and a steady hand are required to handle tools precisely.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills needed to diagnose and repair.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services.
• Provide accurate estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
