Job summary

Tire Discounters, the nation’s largest family-owned tire retailer, is seeking a Sales Associate/Sales Manager in Louisville to grow store sales while delivering outstanding customer service.

In this fast-paced role you will evaluate customer needs, recommend products, drive daily sales calls, coordinate work orders, and help maintain the store’s presentation. Weekend availability and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Retail sales or customer service experience preferred (automotive experience is a plus).
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs. (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates customer needs and recommends products and services accordingly.
• Drives sales growth for store location, including making daily customer calls to increase sales opportunities.
• Coordinates each customer's work order through to completion, following company policy and procedures.
• Provides outstanding customer service to every customer.
• Takes accountability for the presentation of the store, inside and outside.
• Promotes company culture of cooperation and collaboration among all team members.
• Assists in the shop as necessary.
