Job summary

Carter Myers Automotive in Virginia is seeking a Service Greeter to be the first contact for customers in the service department. You will greet customers, initiate the check-in process on an iPad, and guide them to the Service Advisor while presenting a friendly, professional image.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, the ability to work outdoors, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation is hourly with potential for growth within Fixed Operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to safely drive and park customer vehicles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Previous customer service or automotive experience preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership or service department operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers at their vehicle.
• Begin the service check-in process using a company-provided iPad.
• Escort customers to their assigned Service Advisor.
• Assist with vehicle check-in, including taking multiple vehicle photos.
• Park service vehicles safely and efficiently on the lot.
• Deliver keys to technicians and service staff.
• Provide a professional, friendly first impression of the dealership.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and service lane processes.
