Job summary

Sonic Automotive's MB of Calabasas is seeking a results-driven sales professional to join our dealership team. You will focus on selling vehicles, meeting profitability, volume and customer satisfaction standards, while updating customers on features and paperwork.

Base pay is $17/hr plus commissions, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) commonly ranging from $50,000 to $200,000 per year. Training and advancement opportunities are highlighted throughout our organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Valid in-state driver’s license.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Sell vehicles and meet dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards.
• Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
• Demonstrate vehicles and conduct test drives.
• Deliver vehicles and explain operating features, warranty and paperwork to customers.
• Establish personal income goals consistent with dealership standards and devise a strategy to meet them.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives and activities.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory, features, and benefits for customers.
• Work with service and body shop to ensure timely reconditioning of vehicles.
