First Chicago Insurance Company is seeking a Property Damage (PD) Subrogation Specialist to join our Claims team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will take ownership of auto subrogation files from start to finish, negotiating recoveries with carriers, attorneys, and uninsured motorists to maximize outcomes.

The role requires experience in auto liability subrogation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in an in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of auto insurance subrogation experience.
• Knowledge of liability law.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to pass written examinations to become licensed adjuster.
• Experience with online claims systems.
• In-office position.

Responsibilities

• Review evidence supporting property damage subrogation activity per policy and state regulations.
• Contact parties, insurance carriers, and attorneys to negotiate settlements.
• Evaluate counter claims and review with Claims management.
• Review settlement offers to ensure compliance with objectives and regulations.
• Achieve and maintain company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
