Job summary

Sedgwick in the United States seeks a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process low to mid-level auto claims. You will assess damage, authorize payments, and keep files accurately coded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; state adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with PC software.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files based on policy.
• Develops action plans to meet deadlines and move files to resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and agent or broker.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on claims.
• Supports the organization’s quality programs.
