Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance is seeking motivated recent graduates for an entry-level Auto Property Damage Claims Associate role with a June or July 2027 start. You will investigate coverage, liability, and damages and work toward fair, timely claim resolutions under supervision.

Based in Boston, this role emphasizes communication, organization, and problem-solving while handling a high-volume phone environment, keeping claim statuses updated for insureds and brokers, and supporting subrogation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; May 2027 graduations encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and interpret policy provisions, endorsements, and conditions to determine coverage for automobile property damage claims.
• Evaluate and adjust reserves as necessary.
• Negotiate and settle claims within individual authority limits, seeking supervisor approval for higher authorities.
• Maintain effective follow-up systems on pending files and communicate claim status to insureds, claimants, and brokers.
• Handle and initiate subrogation processes when applicable.
• Manage a customer-focused phone environment and respond to emails and texts promptly.
