Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage, to analyze and process auto claims and support settlement decisions. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely action plans, and subrogation opportunities.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (preferred) and strong communication skills. The position requires teamwork, organizational ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a focus on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, salvage forms and title requirements, preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication; presentation skills.
• PC literate; Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto property damage and lower level injury claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are properly documented and coded based on policy.
• Develops and maintains action plans to meet state deadlines and move files to resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Supports the organization's quality program(s).
