Job summary

Job Goal(s):

The primary job of the Auto Program Assistant is to assist the three auto instructors with daily skill demonstration, instruction, and assessment - in general support of the auto program s and students.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist the lead instructor with lesson plan implementation and classroom activities.

• Help prepare materials and equipment for daily class activities and practical demonstrations.


• Monitor and maintain a safe and supportive classroom and lab environment.


• Aid in the supervision of students during clinical practice and fieldwork.


• Assist with administrative tasks, including - record-keeping and classroom management.


• Valid driver's license required.

Terms of Employment : As per master agreement and provisions established by the Van Buren Board of Education.
