Job summary

Avna in Connecticut seeks a manufacturing associate to operate straight-side and gap frame presses up to 400 Ton, load coil material, and inspect finished products to spec using gauges.

The role emphasizes reading and following instructions, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. First shift with occasional Saturday work may be required.

• Operate straight-side and gap frame presses up to 400 Ton.
• Load coil material into various coil feeding equipment - cradles, reels, etc.
• Inspect product to specification per supplied Inspection Instruction Sheets, read calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and other supplied gauges
• Lifting and positioning of coils into feed equipment, lifting of containers of product
