Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge and proficiency with store systems, and may be part time or full time.

Battery installation, tests, and wiper installs are part of the DIY services offered. The associate will help source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers, while maintaining inventory accuracy and shop standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive part knowledge and ability to source from multiple channels.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal sales goals and help store reach its targets.
• Provide DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean and organized and assist with stocking.
