Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Macon, GA is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive parts, and the ability to source from multiple channels.

You will provide excellent service to customers in-store and over the phone, pursue personal and store sales goals, and perform DIY services such as battery installations and wiper replacements, while maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• English speaking and writing; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to source parts from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and store inventory processes.
• Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Meet personal and store sales goals.
• Perform DIY services including battery installations and wiper replacements.
• Maintain store standards for products and operations.
• Handle inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Keep store clean and stocked; deliver parts to customers when needed.
