Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Milledgeville, GA seeks an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help meet sales and service objectives. The role requires basic knowledge of store systems, auto parts, and parts sourcing from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

Position can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. You will provide excellent DIY customer service, assist with battery installations and other services, and maintain inventory and store standards.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Basic math for transactions and handling cash accurately

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store reach overall targets
• Offer DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operating standards
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock
• Ensure store cleanliness and proper stocking
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems and use delivery board system
