Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as the primary contact for retail and wholesale customers, identifying needs and securing the right parts for a good customer experience.

You will greet customers, build relationships, and maintain store presentation while supporting stock and merchandise receiving. This role emphasizes accuracy, multitasking, and strong customer service from a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Buyout and sourcing experience preferred.
• GED preferred.
• Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for NAPA’s retail and wholesale customers. A person in this position is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customers' needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customers receive a good experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
• Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
• Ability to speak clear and listen attentively.
