Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. The role focuses on advanced parts knowledge, troubleshooting, and DIY service support, including battery installations and wiper replacements. You will handle customer interactions both in-store and by phone, driving sales while maintaining store standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong communication skills, and familiarity with inventory and POS systems. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Familiarity with POS and parts lookup systems and basic diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness; stock parts.
