Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with expert parts knowledge, advanced store systems, and accurate identification of parts. The role includes battery installations, service tasks, and meeting sales goals in a busy retail setting.

The position requires strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and 3–5 years of automotive parts experience. ASE P2 certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Manage DIY services including battery installations and other tasks.
• Maintain high customer service and store appearance standards.
• Carry out key holder responsibilities including opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
• Support in providing DIY services such as battery testing and wiper installs.
