Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to deliver expert automotive knowledge and exceptional customer service in our store. The role covers advanced parts identification, troubleshooting, and DIY service support including battery installations and tests.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of auto parts experience, strong product knowledge, and the ability to work a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience with sales
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of store systems and inventory processes
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installs
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Fulfill key holder duties including opening/closing and safety tasks
• Support inventory processes and back stock management
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems with accuracy
