Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert knowledge of automotive parts and store systems for DIY customers. This full-time role focuses on high-quality service, advanced part identification, and strong sales performance.

You will support inventory, use parts lookup tools, and handle POS operations while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. A 3–5 year parts background and a valid driver's license are expected; ASE certification is preferred, not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, not required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
