Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with advanced parts knowledge and store systems proficiency. The role focuses on sales, service objectives, and delivering high-quality customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, ASE certification is preferred, and willingness to work a variety of shifts. This is a full-time position at our U.S. stores.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with inventory and parts lookup systems is essential.
• Ability to read safety rules, catalogs, and maintenance instructions.
• Strong communication with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, opening/closing).
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems.
