Job summary

Salt Lake Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee the busy parts department of a domestic automotive dealership. You will lead a team of up to 10, ensure accurate invoicing, and coordinate timely parts deliveries across the Wasatch Front.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership parts management experience required.
• Experience with a domestic automotive manufacturer strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of up to 10 employees.
• Strong knowledge of dealership parts operations, invoicing, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle customer and employee conflicts effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the parts department and supervise up to 10 employees.
• Code, process, and reconcile manufacturer invoices accurately and timely.
• Coordinate and ensure prompt parts deliveries across the Wasatch Front.
• Maintain appropriate parts inventory levels and optimize ordering and distribution.
• Collaborate with service, sales, technicians, vendors, and customers to drive department performance.
• Resolve customer and employee conflicts professionally.
• Train, coach, and motivate staff while maintaining accountability.
• Establish and refine efficient department processes and procedures.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer policies.
