Job summary

The State of North Carolina - NC State Highway Patrol seeks an Auto Parts Associate to support the Auto Parts and Office Supplies Warehouse statewide. You will process parts requisitions, maintain inventory, and assist Highway Patrol garages with distribution of automotive parts and equipment.

You will also receive and inspect shipments, manage inventory records, and communicate with garages to ensure timely access to required parts and supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill requisitions for automotive parts, shop supplies, and repair equipment for Highway Patrol garages.
• Receive, inspect, store, issue, and distribute parts and supplies and identify discrepancies or damaged shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and process packing slips and parts bills.
• Notify supervisor when stock levels are low and maintain designated storage locations safely.
