Job summary

The City of Baltimore is seeking a Storekeeper II Auto Parts to receive, store, and distribute automotive parts. The role involves working in a garage/warehouse with exposure to fumes and heavy stock, under general supervision, and requires handling heavy items safely.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience, plus a valid Maryland Class C driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Two years storing and issuing automotive parts.
• Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licenses: Valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or equivalent out-of-state license acceptable to the Office of Risk Management.
• Note: Provisional driver’s licenses are not acceptable.

• Receive, store, and distribute automotive parts.
• Work with moderate supervision in a garage/warehouse setting.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain and update parts records and distribution logs.
