Job summary

The NC State Highway Patrol is seeking an Auto Parts Associate to support the Logistics Unit’s warehouse operations in Raleigh, NC. You will process parts requisitions, maintain inventory, and assist garages statewide with parts and supplies.

Primary duties include handling parts shipments, using SAP for inventory data, and operating warehouse equipment. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a valid NC driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in administrative roles preferred.
• Experience with inventory or warehouse operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill requisitions for parts and supplies for Highway Patrol garages.
• Receive, inspect, store, issue and distribute parts; identify discrepancies.
• Maintain computerized inventory records and related docs (packing slips, bills).
• Maintain inventory levels and notify supervisor when stock is low.
• Prepare, package, label, and stage parts for distribution to garages.
• Communicate with garages and SAP for inventory and repair info.
• Keep warehouse organized and safe; operate warehouse equipment.
• Serve as courier and operate a small delivery vehicle when needed.
