Job summary

WIS International seeks a Parts Inventory Manager in Illinois to lead dealership inventories, coordinating with clients and staff to ensure accurate counts. You will oversee inventory events, drive efficiency, and align with the company mission and values.

Ideal candidates have auto dealership parts experience, DMS proficiency (CDK/Reynolds), and strong leadership and communication skills to manage client relationships and internal teams during high-volume counts.

Qualifications

• weekend work is required and available on weekends.
• Parts operation experience in an auto dealership.
• Knowledge of Dealer Management Systems (DMS), especially CDK or Reynolds.
• Strong staff leadership, planning and organizational skills.
• Client-facing with strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the client’s primary point of contact for a physical inventory count.
• Facilitates pre-inventory communication and drafts plans to meet expectations.
• Manages all DSI staff assigned to an inventory event to ensure accuracy.
• Interacts with the client during the event to resolve questions or concerns.
• Directs post-inventory activities to meet policies and client expectations.
• Maximizes profitability by managing labor expenses through efficiencies.
• Promotes WIS International values in dealings with employees and clients.
