Job summary

WIS International is seeking a Parts Inventory Manager for auto dealership parts departments. This full-time, salaried exempt role includes a salary range and an earnable commission plan. The position requires DMS experience, preferably CDK or Reynolds, leadership, and weekend work with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• This work requires weekend availability (excluding holidays).
• Parts operation experience in an auto dealership.
• DMS knowledge required; CDK and/or Reynolds preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
• Client-facing role with solid communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Travel to out-of-market inventories on weekends when not local.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s primary contact for a physical inventory count.
• Coordinate pre-inventory communications and set mutual expectations.
• Manage DSI staff assigned to the inventory event to ensure timely, thorough counts.
• Interact with the client to resolve questions or concerns during the event.
• Oversee post-inventory tasks to meet policies and client expectations.
• Improve profitability by controlling labor costs through efficient processes.
• Promote WIS International values in dealings with staff and clients.
