Job summary

AutoZone in California is seeking a Delivery Driver to support parts delivery to commercial customers and DIY shoppers. You will provide automotive advice, assist with installation, and ensure timely, safe deliveries using company vehicles.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic automotive knowledge, and a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime. Prior Hazmat endorsement is a plus and growth opportunities are available within the essential auto parts

Qualifications

• Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Valid Driver’s License & Safety Compliance: Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing automotive advice and offering installation services.
• Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
• Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
• Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
• Load and unload parts per route schedules and collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
• Adhere to PPE and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving environment.
• Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues.
