O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to customers safely and efficiently. This position will also collect money on COD deliveries and pick up customer returns, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

You will use handheld devices for deliveries, conduct daily vehicle inspections, and keep equipment secure. The role may involve assisting customers as a cashier and performing merchandising tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company 14/18-point standard.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspect before operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and money collected.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy.
• Assist customers or act as cashier when needed; other duties as assigned.
