Luther Family Ford in Fargo is seeking a Parts Counter Person to assist in our Parts Department. You will support the parts sales process, look up parts in catalogs, and provide customers with price quotes and information.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in auto parts sales preferred, and strong organizational and communication skills for a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in auto parts sales preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures and manuals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and quantities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Provide price quotes and other information to customers.
• Print and process parts orders for delivery or pickup.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts and escalate urgent needs.
• Maintain weekly stock checks to ensure accuracy.
• Handle payments from retail customers and obtain credit authorization when needed.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.
• Support internal and external customers with high level service.
• May perform parts deliveries when required.
