Job summary

Lou Fusz Kia Creve Coeur is seeking a parts sales associate to support the parts department. You will interact with customers, look up parts in the catalog, provide quotes, and process orders for daily shipment or pickup.

Responsibilities include coordinating with staff and customers, reviewing estimates for accuracy, and maintaining stock through routine bin checks. Prior experience in auto parts sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in auto parts sales preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to calculate discounts, percentages and other figures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customer on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing.
• Provide high level service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or needs.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources when needed.
• Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• Receive payments from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
