Job summary

Elko Motor Company is seeking an experienced Parts Counter-person to join our team in Elko, NV. You will manage the parts sales process, communicate with customers and staff, and use the parts catalog to find items accurately and efficiently.

You will also handle price quotes, invoices, and stock checks while delivering high-level service to internal and external customers. A valid driver’s license and basic computer literacy are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Customer-oriented and self-motivated team player
• 1–2 years of automotive parts experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills are a must
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be computer literate

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
• Communicate with customers on parts status
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information
• Invoice orders and ensure correct billing
• Pull and fill orders from stock and assist in stock checks
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or urgent needs
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources when necessary
