Job summary

Mills Automotive Group in Minnesota is seeking an Automotive Parts Counterperson to pull and fill parts orders, deliver to Technicians or Guests, and collaborate with Service Advisors and Technicians in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will locate out-of-stock parts from outside vendors, ensure correct billing, and support inventory accuracy while maintaining strong guest service across internal and external Guests.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Responsibilities

• Pull and fill internal and external parts orders for pickup, delivery, or shipment.
• Locate parts from outside vendors when required due to stockouts.
• Communicate prices/quotes and collect payments from Guests/Customers.
• Ensure internal parts requests are billed and that Technicians receive parts timely.
• Conduct weekly bin checks to ensure accurate inventory.
• Monitor parts inventory levels and notify Management of urgent needs.
• Embodies Exceptional Guest Service within our Culture and Core Values.
• Create World Class Guest Experiences with each Guest and Customer.
