Job summary

Caliber Collision Matthews is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting in collaboration with the Auto Painter. You will assist with sanding, buffing, and maintaining the paint booth and workspace, supporting a smooth workflow in a production shop.

Requirements include 1+ years in paint operations, 18+ years old, valid driver’s license, and eligibility for Caliber’s insurance. Collision experience or VO-Tech certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter.
• Sanding and buffing as needed.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace.
• Assist in repairing vehicles to Caliber and OEM standards using proper equipment.
