Job summary

Caliber Collision Canton is seeking an Auto Painter Helper to assist the painting process by preparing vehicles, masking, and coordinating with the Auto Painter to maintain a steady workflow in a fast-paced collision shop.

Duties include sanding and buffing, keeping the paint booth and workspace clean, and performing vehicle repairs safely and to OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment; overtime may apply for hourly staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Previous collision experience or Collision Vo-Tech certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting and masking as part of the workflow.
• Sand and buff surfaces to ensure a quality finish.
• Maintain paint booth and workspace in a clean, safe condition.
• Repair vehicles to meet OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.
