Job summary

Caliber Collision in Redlands, CA is hiring an Auto Painter Helper to assist the Auto Painter in preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding and buffing, while maintaining the paint booth and workspace.

Requirements include 1+ year in paint operations within a collision center, being 18+, and a valid driver’s license with eligibility for Caliber’s insurance. Collision Vo-Tech certification is a plus. This role offers growth and hands-on experience in a production shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy.
• Nice to have: previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting in cooperation with the Auto Painter.
• Sand and buff as needed.
• Maintain the paint booth and workspace.
• Repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment.
