Job summary

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Mechanic in Oxon Hill. You will test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' specs, repair engine components, brakes, steering and air bag systems, and perform vehicle alignments using state-of-the-art diagnostic devices.

Paid weekly for hourly work with overtime eligibility. Benefits from day one, paid vacations, and opportunities for growth and certification (I-CAR, ASE) are included as part of Caliber's benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Mechanic to test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications, repair and/or replace engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems and perform vehicle alignments while also testing components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices. Auto Mechanics will be required to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using our state-of-the-art equipment.

OUR AUTO MECHANICS FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of Automotive Repair experience
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
• Must be at least 18 years of age

ABILITES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
