Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an on-site maintenance technician in San Diego, CA. You will perform preventive maintenance on a diverse fleet, including oil changes, tire work, and basic repairs, while following safety procedures. The role offers on-the-job training toward ASE certification and benefits.

You must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to advance as skills grow.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on a fleet of vehicles (oil changes, fluid services, tires, rotations, basic repairs) following safety standards.
• Work on a diverse fleet across multiple brands to gain exposure to various systems.
• Assist senior technicians as experience grows and maintain quality, safe standards.
