Job summary

North County Kia is hiring a Lot Porter for a full-time position in El Cajon, CA. You will prepare vehicles for service, manage lot space, verify vehicle information, and assist with basic maintenance tasks to ensure a smooth dealership operation.

Ideal candidates will have a valid drivers license, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and prior experience as a lot porter or related roles are a plus. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are possible.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience as a Lot Porter, Facility Attendant, or Detailer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for service: place mats and liners, create key tags, move and park vehicles.
• Keep the service area clean and safe from hazards.
• Retrieve, wash and dry newly serviced vehicles for customers.
• Maximize lot space by efficient vehicle placement.
• Verify serial numbers and info for incoming cars against service work and invoices.
• Inspect cars for damage and confirm accessories listed on invoices.
