We will train you in auto glass installation, repair, recalibration of safety systems, and customer service, all while paying you to learn.

This role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions, using your hands, and adapting to a dynamic environment. Our 3-month paid training program prepares you for success, with pay reviews every six months based on performance.

As a Technician Trainee, You Will:

• Receive paid training in auto glass installation, repair, and safety system recalibration.
• Learn to provide additional services and products.
• Pass assessments to become a Safelite-certified Technician, demonstrating proficiency and a positive attitude.
• Operate company vehicles and tools safely.

What You’ll Get:

• Starting pay of $21/hour, increasing to $25.85/hour after training and certification.
• Additional pay for safety-related services, such as $5 per set of wiper blades.
• Potential for promotion within the first year, with pay rising to $30.24/hour as a Senior Tech and $32.31/hour as a Master Tech based on performance.
• Benefits valued at over $10k, including a 401(k) with company match, health plans, paid time off, and more.
• Options to buy or sell unused PTO, and up to $5,250 annually in tuition reimbursement.
• All necessary tools and paid training provided.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, on your feet for extended periods.
• Flexibility in work hours to meet customer needs.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and write.
