Job summary

Glass Doctor is seeking a motivated Trainee Auto Glass Technician in Warren, MI to assist with auto glass installations and repairs and learn from experienced technicians. You’ll also help to identify opportunities to upsell services.

You will help deliver excellent customer experiences, maintain proper safety and work area standards, and build hands-on skills in tools, materials, and processes within a busy service team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in auto glass industry
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects such as windshields
• Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology
• Professional appearance and personality

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair and replacement of auto glass according to specified procedures
• Help insure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of glazing accessories on vehicle
• Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
• Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
• Execute Service with Advanced Training (SWAT)
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

The Trainee Auto Glass Technician is key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation and repair of auto glass.
